In this fused glass lantern class, you’ll design a stunning 4-sided garden lantern that transforms beautifully when illuminated. Approximately 11" tall, and create four unique panels that tell your own visual story.
Using vibrant fusible glass, frit, stringers, glass dots, and shimmering dichroic accents, you’ll layer color and texture to create scenes like ocean horizons, blooming flowers, drifting clouds, birds in flight, or abstract sparkle and movement.
We’ll begin with a brief introduction to glass safety and tools before you dive into designing your personalized lantern panels.
The result is a glowing, handcrafted piece of art that’s uniquely yours.
