  • Creative Ornaments: fill your workspace with four 4"x4" holiday ornaments.
  • Diamond "snowflakes": choose 30 glass diamond shapes to make three ornaments.


Make creative ornaments in the size you like on your 9"x9" workspace. Four 4"x4" ornaments fit nicely in your space OR choose to make diamond snowflakes in your choice of colors. (Additional diamond shapes for your three ornaments are only $1 each if you "need" them).

Additional snowflakes are $15 each for 10 diamonds.

This is a DROP IN EVENT during class time to help minimize waiting time for your kiddos. Come anytime during event time.


Handprint or footprint plate- perfect for gift giving!

Your child's handprint or footprint on a special plate with the ABC's rim as an accent.


These commemorative plates are available in several colors or clear. Make a list of your special people that would love one!


THIS EVENT INCLUDES YOUR CHILDREN

You need to help them to make their handprint or footprint on glass that will be fired in the kiln. The special paint it nontoxic and it will STAIN CLOTHES- please have everyone wear old clothes.


This project needs a parent to help your child get their hand or foot to the plate, it may be helpful for you to bring a friend/helper.

ABC's OF GLASS FUSING
​​3 hour introductory class  $100 
 This class is an entry level look into the exciting world of fusing glass.
Students will be given the basics of what fusible glass is and how to use it to create!  
Prerequisite: none!   
Two projects created in class.
You will learn:
  • What is Fusible Glass?
  • Effects of temperature: Tack, Contour, Full Fuse, Slump
  • Types and uses of glass such as frit, powder, stringers
  • How to cut glass and how to use the tools​
BEGINNING FUSED GLASS
3 classes (2.5 hours each)  or  1 day (8 hours)

Whether you are an experienced artist looking for a new medium or someone who has wanted to adventure into art glass for the first time, this is the class for you! 
You’ll make at least FOUR projects using fun, interesting techniques.
Prerequisite: none!  
You will learn everything covered in ABC's of Glass Fusing PLUS:
  • What is Fusible Glass? 
  • Compatibility, what is COE, volume control- the “6mm rule”
  • Effects of temperature: Tack, Contour, Full Fuse, Slump
  • About the different types, forms, and uses of glass such as frit, powder, and glass stringers
  • How to cut glass and use nippers, grozers and files
  • How to design and assemble your piece
  • We’ll practice safely using glass tools.
 
You’ll learn how to use transparent glass in suncatchers to bring color into your home. Learn to use opal and specialty glass for a special “pop” to your beautiful pieces.  Projects choices are fun and functional pieces.
